Welcome to Grow Your Own Vegetable Garden.  I’m Nik and I am the founder and content manager over here, trying to provide you with informative and useful content to help you succeed in growing abundant, vibrant and delicious vegetables, herbs and fruit.

I first started gardening as a small child when I would spend days with my Grandfather at his allotment.  His passion and enthusiasm for nature and growing food rubbed off on me and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I vividly remember the sheer pride and joy with first vegetables I ever grew from seeds – round and little gem lettuce that he had given me as seedlings.
